Sadly, we lost a friend and a loyal member of our Club.
Richard (Boomer) Hansen is now at rest after suffering from illnesses that took him from us. He was a Lifetime Member of our Club, an ambassador for our causes, and supported all our events.
He will surely be missed by us all, especially around the Bid Whist table.

Good News..Bad News
**2015 Deer Pool results:**
Largest Buck.... Bill Plante....206 lbs.
Bill will be awarded a Remington mod. 7600
30-06 rifle at the awards Banquet, January 17th,
at the Sanford Elks Lodge.
Largest Doe....Tim Turcotte....116 lbs. Tim will be
awarded  a Remington Expre
ss 20 Ga. Shotgun.
Youth Category... two gents qualified for 1st place:
Tyler Fenderson and Jordon Basinger
Both will be awarded Lifetime Hunting Licenses.

We congratulate the winners and thank all those who participated. We also thank our dedicated sponsors who
stepped up to help make this event happen. This year
was an even bigger success and we're grateful for to
you all.
You're all invited to the Banquet on Jan. 17th. and we
hope to see everyone there!
Now for the bad news:
Due to many factors, including the late fall warm spell
and the issue of questionable ice conditions on the local
lakes, we have decided to cancel this year's 7th annual
York County Regional Ice Fishing Derby, which was
scheduled to take place on Jan. 31, 2016. We regret that
we had to make this tough call but we must err on the side
of caution. The safety of everyone is our priority, and not
to be left to chance.
We still plan to conduct a derby in January 2017 and will
make that announcement early next fall.
Meanwhile we will still conduct the drawing for the
Ice Auger Raffle on Jan. 31st. Tickets are still available at
various retail locations and from club members.
We thank you for your support and understanding.
